Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Arrrrgh. It's a weed! Yes it is but this fully double form of the much cursed Sour sod doesn't seed and confined to a pot, it can't run. The weight of the fluorescent yellow flowers tends to make them nod gracefully on slender stems, revealing their red tinted backs. Forms dense mats of red marked clover-like foliage. Charming and carefree in large pots, perhaps as company for a large Agave. Chew on the flower stalks for sour goodness. Do not plant it in the ground unless you really, really like it. I grow it just so I can have people say "what are growing THAT for". Bad taste is the height of fashion.
