A low, spreading perennial. Dark sage green, lance shaped leaves are held in flat rosettes from which arise wiry, leafy, branched stems bearing quantities of white, saucer shaped flowers. Cut back spent stems to ground level. Given good drainage and an exposed position O. pallida is drought hardy and long lived. An excellent road verge plant.
