Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A short lived but self seeding Winter growing perennial, native to much of southern Australia. The many branched, woody stems, carrying softly haired, shallowly lobed, palmate leaves, produce an abundance 5cm, pale pink, mallow-like flowers from early Spring until mid Summer. Adaptable to any well drained soil and sunny position. Seedlings are at their best in their second year after which I tend to remove them once they have dropped seed.
