    Gaillardia x grandiflora 'Arizona Apricot' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In fall and summer yellow flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established.     If your idea of a gaillardia is a somewhat garish two-tone daisy, think again! 'Arizona Apricot's 3 1/2 inch flowers are a unique color combination lighter than traditional gaillardias. Yellow petal edges shading to apricot surround green-tinged centers. Plants are compact and free-flowering, blooming from early summer into fall. Very hardy, relatively maintenance-free and drought-tolerant once established.
