Malva sylvestris 'Zebrina' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In fall and summer pink and purple flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and even moisture water. Does well in rich and well-drained soil.

Zebrina' is a fantastic clump-forming perennial that produces hundreds of blooms even in its first year. In the spring plants sprout new shoots from the roots which quickly grow to their full height and start blooming by late spring or early summer. Typically plants produce one or two large central stalks with dozens of long branches growing from each leaf node that are covered in flowers themselves. Over the course of the summer additional branches emerge from the base to continue flower production through the rest of the summer.

Pale pink, cup-shaped flowers with indented petals and violet veining bloom along the stalks of this cottage garden gem. The seed pods develop into little "cheese wheels"; hence, members of this family are called cheese mallow. Easy to grow, they bloom from midsummer to frost.
