Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Free flowering with a delicate light fragrance, this climber is easily trained on a stake, hoop or trellis rewarding you with light pink blooms at a young age. A strong root system, a vigorous growth habit, and insect resistant nature make this vine as popular as Mandevilla 'Alice Dupont.' Also, it has few problems with insects. Give this Southeastern Pacific vine copious amounts of sun, feed and water and it will surely become a permanent addition to your collection. During the winter in the north, the "Bower Vine" shuts down its flowering because of diminished light levels.
One of the showiest vines we grow, sadly it is tender here. We have a specimen growing up through a large potted variegated Daphne odora, the huge flat faced pink trumpets are produced all summer, and everyone wants the trumpet flowered Daphne. Related to Campsis, tuberous rooted, plant deep and grow as a dieback a little further south.
Pandora bignoniaceae or "wonga wonga plant" produces trumpet shaped light pink flowers with a deeper throat...a climbing twining vine with green and white variegated leaves...blooms spring to fall..
