With a rich, heavenly fragrance, the thick 1" fully double white blooms emerge on the tips of its upright stems. The carnation-like blooms are much revered throughout Asia where a perfumed drink is made by soaking the flower overnight in water. A slow-growing cultivar that loves a warm, sunny location.
'Grand Duke of Tuscany' has a very strong rich fragrance producing fully double 1" carnation style white flowers on upright bushy somewhat vining plants. The foliage is ovate,deep green, and glossy. Hardy zone 10. Likes sun and is everblooming.
Strongly fragrant, very double, 1.5", white blooms never seem to let you down when you are looking for something fragrant in the garden or greenhouse. Deep green glossy foliage on twining vine or scrambling shrub to 8' or can easily be pruned to keep it smaller and fuller.
