Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Ficus pumila ‘Quercifolia’, sometime called String of Frogs or Miniature Oakleaf Fig, is an adorable, dwarf evergreen houseplant with tiny, bright green leaves that resemble frogs or oakleaves. They leaves stay under 1/2 inch in size. They are carried on trailing stems, forming a low mat of foliage. Prefers a warm, humid environment with bright indirect light, although they can do fine in very low light. They are perfect in a window hanging basket, terrariums, or in a miniature fairy garden. Avoid direct sunlight altogether. A north and east facing window would be ideal. Provide a well-draining soil and frequent waterings, allowing for consistent moisture. Protect from freezing temperatures!
One of the best miniature ground covers for container culture, this small version of the creeping fig is perfect for terrarium culture where it thrives under low light and high humidity. Useful as a hanging plant, grown in a tabletop planter or used as a ground cover for larger plants, the vining stems spill over the pot's edge forming a dense mat. It prefers even moisture and modest amounts of fertilizer. The indented leaves resemble tiny oak leaves.
Ficus Radicans Pumila Quercifolia has tiny miniature oak shaped deeply lobed bright green leaves on wiry stems that clump and stays close or flat to the ground...great for terrariums
