An important native flower of China and Japan, hardy mums were hybridized as early as 500 A.D. This large flowered (3”) pink daisy with tufted gold centers blooms mid to late fall, providing pollen and nectar to migrating butterflies and native bees getting ready to nap away the winter. Easy, just provide organic, well-drained soil.
A great landscape mum winter hardy in zones 5-9. Hugh - Gigantic flowers of rich pink, some single, some double, daisy like blooms from late September thru frost. Grows up to 24" in sun to part shade. Great cut flower. May also be listed as "Dendranthemum".
