    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This delightful shasta daisy lives for years and produces its deep, dark, shiny foliage and enormous single white mid-summer daisies even in high heat and humidity! The three foot stems makes them a great cut flower too. These extremely easy-care perennials require no maintenance, but can cut back for compactness and rebloom. S/M

Formerly included under Chrysanthemum, and now we here it's back again?---this is the best shasta-type daisy we've grown. Blooming from mid-July through Oct--it is later than most, possibly because it has Nippon Daisy in its background. 3' x 3'
