Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Large fragrant pink trumpets to 10" long and flaring to 5-6" wide with recuving petals are born in loose clusters from late spring to fall on this popular large tropical shrub. Angel's Trumpets are excellent container or garden plants that are root hardy perennials in the cooler portions of their range. The intense fragrance of Angel's Trumpets permeates the garden in the evening. Angel's Trumpets or Brugmansias seem to benefit from midday and or afternoon shade in hotter regions. Provide a well drained soil or plant in raised gardens where drainage is poor. These tropicals are easily overwintered indoors in containers where not winter hardy.
