PPAF This plant has lots of color! Bright neon red-pink flowers engulf this compact semi-evergreen azalea in spring. Vivid, glossy silver and dark green variegated foliage supplies the color the rest of the year. This very hardy azalea was developed by plantsman Mike Farrow of Maryland. Features: Bright showy magenta flowers in spring, and attractive variegated foliage all season long. Season-long color. Semi-evergreen. Attracts butterflies. Tips and Uses: This is a colorful addition to mixed borders. Use as an accent plant in beds or containers (plant in ground in fall if in a patio pot). The variegated foliage and small size make it good for edging walkways and other tight spaces. Plant Care: Needs moist, well-drained acidic soil. Trim after flowering. Protect overwinter in North. Apply an evergreen fertilizer in spring.
