    Amorphophallus atroviridis is a broadleaf deciduous perennial aroid bulb / corm / tuber with black foliage. In spring and summer cream and pink flowers emerge. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and regular water. Prefers to be dry when dormant. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant, humidity tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

    Amorphophallus atroviridis is a smaller growing Amorphophallus. This plant has nice size white/ pink inflorescence, some have shown to have more pink than others. Some of the inflorescence have a spiral effect to the top portion of the spadix. The petioles are pink/maroon in color, some have white blotches while others may have non. The foliage is a dark green color with a pink rim around the edge. The foliage is a bit velvety to the touch and can be seen in some of the photos. Mature plants are 1 to 2 feet tall and just a few inches wide. This species goes dormant in winter months.
