Commonly known as the corpse flower or lily. The deep maroon inflorescence is one of the largest flowers in the world, about the size of a basketball! These plants go dormant in the winter but reemerge in the spring along the Gulf Coast. Most of ours survived outside in 3 gallon containers with 3 days in a row below 16 °F. In the ground we believe they would survive easily through zone 8.
