Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This Ecuadorian cloud forest shrub/small tree rocks its hummingbird magnet blooms YEAR ROUND (even in Winter)! Related to the lovely Brugmansia, it sports clusters of 2" long, deep burgundy blooms. Flowers happen on new growth, which means it's totally pruneable. Growing to 10-12' high by 3-5' wide fairly quickly, prune it to whatever size your heart desires. Near the coast it's cool in the sun, but for those of you in warmer places, plant in a shadier place to protect from hot afternoon sun. ALL PARTS POISONOUS!
