Very floriferous, this snow white coneflower with its 4"+ flowers on 2' stems is wonderful for the border or for cutting to enjoy indoors. S/M
This is a beautiful white and slightly shorter version of the traditional E. purpurea. Try to get it next to Gypsophilla for an amazing combo when the cone flower rises through a haze of baby's breath. Plant in full sun in average (not overly rich), well-drained soils. Avoid soils that are overly moist in winter. Photo courtesy of Walters Gardens.
Dignified as the name implies, large, pure white flowers crest branching, stalwart stems cloaked in handsome dark green foliage. Broad and slightly reflexed, the bright petals achieve a stunning contrast as they skirt each golden brown boss. With an upright stance, 'White Swan' looks simply noble in the company of Monarda 'Violet Queen' and a dark red Sanguisorba.
A pure white blossomed cone flower. Were free flowering over most of the season, up until frost. Prefers full sun.
