As young trees used extensively for bonsai culture. Ours have been grown to develop as small-stature garden trees. They have developed the characteristic corky bark and have trunks 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter. In spring small, 1 1/2" long leaves with serrated edges cover the branches. Artistically trained would make a wonderful addition to the garden.
Tiny toothed leaves arranged so neatly on interesting ridge-barked branches make this slow-growing shrub perfect for bonsai or container. Sun/Med
Very tiny leaves, about ¼" in size when they first appear. This variety has multiple stems and would make a very nice bonsai specimen. The leaves are serrated on the edges, making it look almost fernlike.
