Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An excellent, eye-catching specimen and a neat-compact tree; in contrast to Ulmus glabra Pendula's more horizontal, stiff-looking crown, 'Camperdown' forms a 15' high dome of branches weeping to touch the ground. S/M
An irregularly rounded, dense tree with contorted, pendulous branches. Green foliage turns yellow in the fall. Insignificant flowers appear in early spring before the leaves emerge and mature into papery samaras by late spring. This is a non-suckering culutivar. A solitary speciman can form an amazing focal point in the landscape. It does have some disease and pest issues in certain areas, but is a popular landscaping tree regardless. Growth Rate medium
Slender branches form umbrella-like crown, reaching to the ground. Deciduous. Zones 4- 7
The iconic zig zag of stacked branches in an umbrella profile. It takes patience to see the form take shape, so best start now!
