This vigorous rainbow of a groundcover has foliage which opens in spring with ruby-red leaf tips which mature to gorgeous, soft shades of blue-green. The foliage creates a 1' mound of incredible feathery foliage that contrasts beautifully with other plants, especially succulents like sedum. Summer finds it topped with bright-yellow-chartreuse flower heads. This is a wonderful and extremely easy-care groundcover for sunny spots and lean soils. S/M-D
Small, fine-textured perennial combines dark maroon leaf tips with chartreuse flower heads and a pleasantly assertive posture. Suitable in the front of a border or massed as a small scale groundcover with gray-foliaged plants. Full sun or part shade and drought tolerant once established. Very similar in appearance to 'Clarice Howard'.
Such a cute wee Euphorbia. With its fine, ferny foliage it gives a very “soft focus” effect to the garden as if the lens has been greased & it’s ready for its close-up! That soft texture also looks great with succulents for contrast. Providing a rainbow of colors throughout the year, the blue-green foliage is tinged with purple-red in the Spring, chartreuse flowers in the Summer & leaves that turn orange in the Fall. Growing 12” tall & wide but can spread by runners so you may see this cutie pop up here & there. Makes a great “pass-along” plant if you find you have some to spare. Poor soil tolerant. Native to Western Europe. As with all Euphorbias, handle with gloves due to the milky sap which can irritate skin.
