Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Deep burgundy foliage is borne on an upright to spreading shrub. In summer, small yellow blooms create a bright contrast with the dark foliage. A heat and sun loving tropical which is great as a pool-side container plant or in mixed plantings for the dark foliage contrast.
This is a red leafed clone from Mexico that will eventually grow into a small tree in zone 10. However can be grown in containers very nicely where it does not get large. It can be trimmed to encourage fullness.
