Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This is an excellent variety with dark-red buds that open to beautiful pale, rose-red flowers becoming ¾" bright-red fruit which persists for a long period (depending on how many hungry birds you have!). Becoming a broad-rounded tree 15-20' tall, the green foliage is tinted purple in spring and turns beautiful shades of crimson orange in the fall. This fine cultivar is also very disease resistant.
