    These are the perfect sweet-tart apple with a satisfyingly crisp texture. In spring, fragrant white flowers emerge from pink buds and in autumn these 15-20' trees are loaded with numerous glossy bright-green apples which are superb for cooking and make outstanding tarts or pies, they also store very well. Discovered in Tasmania in 1868, 400-500 chill hours are required, as is a pollinizer of which there are many; Gala, Fuji, and Fameuse to name a few. S/M
