A PINK flowering Star Jasmine! Durable twining, evergreen vine 8-10’ tall and covering an area twice as wide; glossy deep green foliage. Burst of bloom in spring of FRAGRANT, small, light pink flowers followed by sporadic bloom all summer. Some drought tolerance when established; average soil and water; best protected from hot PM sun and hot reflected positions.
A versatile star jasmine wearing a profusion of sweetly scented, pink, pinwheel-like blooms all summer. The glossy, evergreen leaves are attractive year-round, and this vine may be grown as a groundcover, climbing vine, mounded, or grown in containers. With supplemental light it may even be grown indoors as a beautiful and fragrant house plant!
The star jasmine has evergreen glossy foliage. This vine will cover itself with very soft pink, fragrant flowers.
This beautiful new cultivar 'Pink Showers' is a durable climber with sprays of fragrant light pink blooms from spring through summer. Trachelospermums are enduring plants that can take dryness in both the air and soil with ease, tolerate a wide range of temperatures and are consistent bloomers. 'Pink Showers' has the unique advantage over the white form of this species of re-flowering throughout the summer months after the initial spring burst of flowers. Easily maintained in a 6" potted container for a windowsill or it may be grown into a 14' conservatory specimen. Just give it some support to climb on and prune in mid-summer if needed.
Pink Showers brings a new range of color with fragrant blooms steadily throughout summer on the well behaved vine. We first saw this grown in a large container onto an obelisk where it graced a covered porch and sent sweet jasmine fragrance swirling around in gentle breezes. Very nice! Prune as desired.
