With diminutive leaves that are much smaller than the species, this vine has a much softer and dainty feel. This exuberant 30-50' vine is an excellent climbing plant for covering a wall, trellis, fence or growing as an unusual groundcover. Autumn brings vivid, glowing red to the foliage for a traffic stopping sight! S-PSh/M
A Boston ivy that has tiny green leaves that make a pretty tracery on a wall or tree. Don’t put it on a board house as its holdfasts will pull the paint off the wall. Great yellow fall foliage.
Lowii is a small, crinkled leaf selection that adds a texture dimension not found in other varieties of P. tricuspidata. It is also far less vigorous, making it a good choice for a low wall or masonry column. Our favorite specimen of it loosely covers a stone wall at Longwood Gardens. The stone can be seen between the branching stems for a beautiful combination. Self-clinging.
