Hosta 'Hadspen Blue' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with blue foliage. In summer lavender and white flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Hosta ‘Hadspen Blue’ is a smaller variety with thick, corrugated, round, very powder-blue leaves. Holds its color longer than most other blue Hostas. Displays lavender flowers. Hostas, also called Plantain Lilies, grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils. A good partner for ferns. Although the flowers are attractive, Hostas are usually grown for their ornamental foliage.
One of the best small to medium blue Hostas ever introduced. Powder blue leaves are slug resistant and retain their color all summer long, forming mounds 12" tall by 18" wide . 18" scapes bear lavender flowers in mid summer.
Heavy substanced, corrugated, heart shaped very rich blue leaves; holds color quite well. Bell shaped, lavender grey flowers in mid summer. Dappled to full shade. Medium size hosta.
An oldie but goody. The rich blue foliage appears on a medium sized plant. This easy grower makes a pretty foil for ferns and other woodland perennials.
Powdery steel blue leaves retain their colour all summer long; one of the best blues ever developed. Thick, cupped, heavily textured leaves are slug resistant. Forms a nice rounded mound of foliage. Extremely blue, oval leaves with good substance. White flowers mid July to mid August on 15" scapes, held barely above the foliage. Small and low growing.
