Thick, dimpled, frosty blue leaves edged in contrasting pale yellow to cream forming medium sized clumps 12" tall and expanding to 30" across; the foliage color lasts all season. Leaves are slug and snail resistant compared to other Hostas! White flowers on 14-16" stems in summer; vigorous plants.
Another great variety from Don Dean, 'Frosted Dimples' has intensely dimpled rounded leaves that are bright blue with a creamy margin. This has been a bit of a sleeper plant for me; when it was young I was somewhat unimpressed. But given time it has matured into a fantastic addition to the garden. White flowers in summer.
