A unique looking hosta that lives up to its fun name! Bright yellow leaves are very long and thin and notable for their incredibly wavy margins. It forms a low, wide habit that really highlights the "wiggly" edges. Leaves will be more chartreuse green in more shade: for best yellow color, plant in a site with morning sun and afternoon shade. Lavender flowers.
This hosta offers a whimsical sea-creature-like effect with very narrow wiggly light green leaves forming a miniature mound of foliage perfect for edging, walk-ways, or showcased in a rock garden. Lavender flowers top the clump in late summer. Miniature hostas are great in shady containers or troughs, at the front of the border or along pathways. Dangerous for collectors who will want to have many more than just one!
'Chartreuse Wiggles' is a classic variety from Paul Aden. It features narrow golden foliage with a slightly wavy margin on petite mounds that are perfect for the front of the garden or containers. This variety seems to resent poor placement; make sure soil is rich, well-drained, and has adequate moisture. Morning sun is beneficial for best color and vigor.
Thick fountain of lance shaped, very ruffled, satiny smooth, bright gold leaves that age to chartreuse in summer; Nice substance. Bell shaped, purple striped lavender flowers in late summer. Plant in part sun (but avoid mid-day sun) to full shade. Miniature hosta.
