Colorful flowers and colorful foliage make Spirea Double Play® Artisan a vibrant addition to deer country gardens. Rich pink summer flowers and rich purple-red new growth in spring. Get months of bright color from this adaptable, easy to grow plant. It maintains its compact, mounded shape with very little pruning, and has more vivid color than other spiraea varieties.

Plants in the Double PlayTM series display at least superb characteristics, in this case better bloom color and improved foliage color. 'Galen' or under the trademarked name ArtistTM was a clear winner in Spring Meadow's field trials due to compactness, great foliage coloration and outstanding PURPLE flowers. New foliage growth is vibrant purplish-red, maturing to an attractive bluish-green. Unique to the species, the blooms are a rich purple. PPAF
