Hosta 'Sum of All' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with gold, green and variegated foliage. In summer lavender flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. A sport of 'Sum and Substance', 'Sum of All' is possibly the largest hosta available today growing to three feet tall and five feet wide with 16 inch wide broadly ovate green leaves with one inch wide gold margins. Forms a huge mound of slug-resistant, sun tolerant foliage. Pale lavender flowers appear on four foot scapes in mid to late summer.
'Sum of All' is a sport of 'Sum and Substance', differing with green centered leaves with a 1" golden margin. It has some slug resistance, and is sun tolerant. Plants easily grow 3-4' tall and 5-6' across, faster, of course, if kept well fed and watered.
