Nursery contributed plant descriptions

This Crispin Silva selection has amazing yellow and green variegated leaves. Years ago, Crispin showed me a dove tree with a minor gold margined leaf. Over the years, Crispin worked at stabilizing the golden margin. It's a WOW plant!
With stunning butter-yellow-edged leaves that just glow in the sunlight on this already incredible tree. Late spring-into-early summer finds this beauty draped with the showy and unusual 'handkerchief' flowers (bracts) that are the glory of the dove tree. This cultivar is wonderfully different and makes a fine specimen tree. Fairly slow-growing to 20-40' and well worth the wait! S-PSh/M
