This might be our favorite Hosta, and it is so distinctive in our garden that we are often asked about it. A Charlie Seaver hybrid, 'Deep Blue Sea' forms compact 3'' wide clumps of thick, very corrugated, shiny blue cupped foliage. It is heat loving and quick to grow, with lavender flowers on 14' scapes in mid summer.
