Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Very handsome and very rare (even in its Himalayan homeland), this small-medium tree has silvery-blue foliage; these plants (grown from seed) still exhibit juvenile foliage; part of C. cashmeriana complex. S/M-D/GDr
Sublime evergreen conifer from Bhutan with a narrowly pyramidal shape with upright branches dripping with pendulous branchlets of blue, aromatic foliage. Typically 8-10’ tall and 4’ wide in 10 years, a gorgeous large specimen! Probably best with some protection from high winds in a sunny location and occasional irrigation in well-drained soil. Hardy to 10 degrees (according to Buchholz).
We once saw a stunning tree at Sola Madre in northern Italy. The 200 year old (not sure, but old) filled a courtyard with long strands of gray green needles. Hardy in California and Oregon coasts. Maybe Medford, Oregon is warm enough. Limited, one per customer.
Fabulous lacy blue foliage, wondrously pendulous. A real showstopper. Fast growing, but works for a while as a container centerpiece.
