With its pendulous clear pink bells, this small, fine-textured tree (20') makes an even prettier picture than the species; a lovely patio tree or accent, especially where the viewer can look up into the flowers S-PSh/M
In June, charming, fragrant, light pink bell-shaped flowers dangle profusely beneath the length of their branches followed by earring-like seed pods that are nearly as pretty as the flowers. And while flowers or pods hang downward, its leaves arch upward. This small, deciduous tree, 20 ft tall x 15 ft wide, has bushy growth and usually a rounded or broad-topped canopy.This tree is a darling, to be sure. Deer-resistant.Minimum temperature: -20°F
Small, deciduous, upright tree with rounded from and medium green foliage. Appearing in May, the slightly fragrant flowers are bell-shaped, pink and pendulous. Yellow fall color.
This cultivar can grow as a shrub or small tree, with wide spreading horizontal branches which tend to weep. The flowers are light pink with showy yellow stamens and a nice fragrance. The bark fissures on older trees reveal an attractive orange inner layer that provides winter interest.
