Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Deciduous shrub with a dwarf, mounded habit. Leaves are a lovely lemony yellow in the spring, with a bronzy tinge. As the season progresses they turn more of a lime green, then to an orangish red in the fall. Flowers show up in late spring to accompany the foliage.
Lime green foliage and pink flowers make for excellent contrast with other green plants. We feel this is superior in every way to the similar Goldmound Spirea. 30"x30" in ten years. Recommended by: USNA.

This is a low mounding spreading deciduous shrub with soft chartreuse new growth, maturing to a light green through summer, and showing reds and oranges in fall. The clusters of light pink blooms occur throughout summer but are rarely noticeable except up close.
A dwarf growing form to 2-3'. In spring the yellow green leaves are so showy they glow and appear as if the plant were in full flower. The deep pink flowers appear later in summer. The leaf color becomes lime-green as the leaves mature giving way to an orange-red in fall. The almost cascading branches are a brilliant display of fall color. It's a choice blending of colors!
