Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Widely funnel-shaped single flowers of pale to dark purple-crimson atop tiny, less than an inch, oblong to lanceolate leaves. Many times will not reach one-foot in 10 years, but be more prostrate growing.
One of the best in its series. The flowers are like rose purple pansies, standing upright on little stems to welcome the sunlight. The name keleticum means "charming" which is very true of this plant. Good for bonsai or your rock garden, it grows compactly and semi-prostrate. Small leaves are bright shiny green with slightly scaly tops and dense brown scales underneath.
