Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Prominent pink buds open white with a touch of pink. New leaves emerge with a dusting of silver over dark green. From the bureavii side of the cross the leaf undersides sport the thick layer of copper-brown indumentum. Absolutely choice.
With parents like these, how could this little 'bear' be bad! Silvery indumentum attop dark green foliage makes this rhododendron down right pettable. Lovely pink buds opening to white flowers with a kiss of pink completes it's charm. A plant you will enjoy all year round. (degronianum ssp. yakushimanum x bureavii)
