Light pink flowers with a subtle yellow flair against very glossy, dark green foliage. Though often confused with 'Christmas Cheer' its leaves are smoother and the buds are lighter.

There is much confusion about this rhododendron. It can be found spelled 'Rosa Mundi' and 'Rosamundii'. It is also often confused with 'Christmas Cheer'. However, the plant most commonly in cultivation under this name has very light pink flowers, generally beginning to flower about a week later than 'Christmas Cheer'. Its leaves are smoother and the buds are lighter than those of 'Christmas Cheer'. A compact plant with an attractive appearance. (caucasicum hybrid)
