Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of our more unusual hybrids this small lepidote has racemes of flowers instead of the standard truss. For the non plant geeks, the flower clusters are elongated along a stalk, rather than flowers bunched at the end of a stalk. Flowers are pale plum-mauve with light spotting. Flower calyx is long and brick red with hairs. It is a compact, hardy dwarf that will withstand the sun. (minus var. minus Carolinianum Group x ferrugineum)
