We first saw this plant at Rhodoland inVida, Oregon in 1968 or 69. It was the most amazing yellow dwarf rhododendron. One of the Cox hybrids from Scotland.

A fine, true yellow dwarf rhododendron from Peter Cox. The intricate, twiggy stems make this plant appear like a tree in miniature. Winter weather brings a bronze-red coloration to the foliage that contrasts well with accompanying winter greens. A well drained location and good light exposure are a must. (rupicola var. chryseum x ludlowii)
