This evergreen shrub related to Pieris has the characteristic nodding, bell-shaped flowers. The 2-3" long racemes bearing fragrant white blooms appear in spring on arching branches, giving a very graceful appearance to the 3-6' shrub. Slow growing, they can also be cut back to form a ground cover 18" high.
