Nursery contributed plant descriptions

The pendulous sprays of lemon-yellow young foliage on this 30-50' pyramidal tree (smaller than its 70-90' parent) make a fine ?springy? show before they turn gradually to their adult green. S-PSh/M
Lemon yellow bright spring growth contrasts with light green older growth. USDA Zones 5-8.
Some golden foliage forms burn when planted in full sun; however, this one will not. It weeps like many of the C. nootkatensis forms, though not as much as the 'Pendula' selection. New growth is golden and becomes greener as it matures.
