Burgundy blushed foliage in winter topped by rose-pink flowers in spring. Plants reach 14" tall and spread 12". The Blooms of Bressingham consider it the best red-leafed variety available.
Compact 12-14"clumps of bronzy-red leaves are as much a treasure in the fall-winter garden as its deep rosy-red flowers are in early spring; glossy green summer leaves useful in arrangements. PSh-Shade/Med(notdry) PPatent7344
The mound of rounded, deep green leaves are up to 8" long. The foliage is maroon on the underside, and will turn beet red in the winter. In the spring, flowers of a very intense red are borne on nodding cymes. Will get 1' tall.
