Sun Star Azalea is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with green foliage. In spring blue and pink flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with mostly sun - mostly shade and regular water. Does well in acidic, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something verticillium wilt resistant.

This hybrid has been one of my favorites for many years. Originally received it in the late 70's mixed in with 'Hino Crimson' and 'Hinode-Giri' cuttings. Small, one-inch flowers appear in April and are purple-red with pointed lobes.

This Krume has 1" flowers that cover this plant when in bloom. The flowers are a strong blue pink with a darker blotch. Perky and bright. You'll like this old Japanese variety.
