Linda Jean Azalea is a broadleaf evergreen shrub with green foliage. In spring pink flowers emerge. Features glossy texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - dappled shade and even moisture - regular water. Does well in acidic, gritty and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something seaside / salt tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

3 inch, hose-in-hose, double, dark pink flowers open the middle of May into June. Bill Guttormsen of Canby, Oregon began breeding the Greenwood hybrids in 1960. This may be the best one of the series.
Deep purple pink 3" double, hose-in-hose flowers with no stamens that makes a nice show on rounded broad plants.
