Precocious, beautiful and a bit smaller! This 4-8' lovely lady not only produces her feathery plumes of pink 'smoke' at a younger age but also manages to cover every branch with them from June-August. The leaves keep their lush, medium-green all summer before turning splendid bright orange-red for fall. A real show stopper for accent or specimen! S/M-D
Some young ladies are early bloomers including this one. 'Young Lady' blooms as a small plant and she blooms like crazy -- so much so that she kind of looks like a poodle in a pot with frothy pink-tinged blooms covering every inch. Blooms from early summer until frost. The leaves are green and turn a superb blend of yellow, orange and red in the fall.
This is a very exciting new Smoke Bush. It is small growing and covers itself in pinkish-white blooms in late spring and early summer. It can be forced to rebloom in fall if flowers are removed. This is a newly developed plant from the Netherlands. It grows 3 to 4 foot tall and nearly as wide in about ten years.

A new, exciting Smoke Bush to the trade that blooms pink as a young shrub from JUNE through AUGUST and is literally smothered in frothy blooms! Shorter than the species, with blue-green foliage that turn yellow, red and orange in the Fall. From Boskoop, Netherlands. PPAF

This green leafed C. coggygria has many large clusters of flowers (smoke) even on 6 inch plants. Discovered by Hendrik Kolster of Boskoop, Holland. The green leaves have orange-red fall color. The plant probably will not get over 8-10 feet because of the heavy flower production. Limited
