    A very tough, drought tolerant cypress, usually of rugged, picturesque character, that is well adapted to the moderate and warmer regions of the west away from the coastal fog belt. This form, newly introduced from Europe, grows to 25' tall and is distinguished by its blue-ness and somewhat columnar habit. Sun to a little shade, with average drainage and little or no summer watering when established. Frost hardy in upper USDA Zone 5.
