This rare species grows to 12 inches tall by 18 inches wide with pendulous pink, white or pale green, hop-like flower heads revealing small rose-pink flowers. The foliage bluish green and fragrant, though they are not used for culinary purposes. Easy to grow in average to dry, well-drained soils in full sun. Superior winter drainage is the key to growing this plant well. Drought tolerant. Plant in borders, rock walls, hanging baskets or containers.
