This really aromatic honeysuckle has been around a while and remains one of the best, though not always as available as it might be. A compact grower, to 8-10', with purple tinted leaves and salmon pink flowers aging to creamy orange, it is a must have for a lover of fragrance.The flowers begin mid spring and continue on and off all summer fading to a nice set of bluish black berries in autumn. We find summer drought and leanish soil makes the plant more compact and the leaves more pinkish purple. Sun to half shade and decently drained soil. Frost hardy in USDA zone 5 we expect.
