    Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Upright, columnar tidy form – 6-8' tall – semi evergreen with brightly emargined foliage – takes full sun – glows in light shade – lovely as a background 'anchor' in a border – Easy care – No fuss – Privets may be common but THIS one is special and rarely available! Yet another 'Heronswod Refugee'…

Variegated Chinese Privet, a semi evergreen hedge or screening plant with elliptic 2-3" leaves of grey green edged and splashed in cream. May be pruned to shape. Very fragrant creamy white flowers in spring, small black berries in fall. Grows 4' wide and 6-10' tall in sun to part shade. Hardy in zone 5-11. Very pretty.
