Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A crested form of the variegated Euphorbia lactea, also known as Milk Cactus, or Candelabra Cactus. Twisting ridges of fan shaped branches that come together in a seam down the middle of each branch. Looks like marine coral, or some think it looks like a brain. Slight variegation.
Could be called 'Brain' cactus due the effect created by the convoluted arrangement of the unusual green and cream variegated, flattened stems. A good choice where space is limited but needs plenty of light. A slow to moderate rate of growth. This is a 'mutant' form or sport called 'cristate' of the Good Luck Cactus, Euphorbia lactea.
Crested form of columnar plant. Green and "Ghost" varieties. Hardy to 35 °F.
